A UX redesign of the FreeMotion Reflex T11.8 treadmill interface.

Treadmill Experience Redesign

This project explores the redesign of the FreeMotion Reflex T11.8 treadmill interface through a user-centered UI and UX process. By conducting usability testing, analyzing user behavior, and identifying key interaction challenges, the interface was redesigned to simplify navigation, improve accessibility, and create a more intuitive workout experience for users of all skill levels.

Why a Redesign Was Needed

While the FreeMotion Reflex T11.8 was feature-rich, its interface no longer reflected modern usability standards. During testing, users experienced unresponsive touch interactions, the absence of tactile controls for use during workouts, cluttered information layouts, and confusing navigation patterns. These issues disrupted the workout experience and formed the foundation for a user-centered redesign focused on simplicity, accessibility, and efficiency.
